Château Cheval Blanc
The history of the estate began in the 4th century, at the time of the Roman Empire. Then, the vineyard developed strongly in the Middle Ages. Château Cheval Blanc occupies a special position in the Saint-Émilion appellation, because it is located on the Quaternary alluvium of the Isle and enjoys a unique terroir (Merlot and Cabernet Franc grape varieties).
