Founded in 1854, Obrist in Vevey owns renowned vineyards, such as Cure d'Attalens and Clos du Rocher, and produces most of its wines in its own cellars in Vevey. Alongside its own vines and estates, Obrist plays the role of discoverer of great wines from all over the world.
It was in 1908 that Henri Badoux founded Maison Henri Badoux in Aigle. Over the decades, the men of Maison Henri Badoux have tamed these terroirs and have been able to adapt to the vagaries of the climate, to bring out with tenacity and expertise, the best of these precious grape varieties. From this pioneering spirit, passion and conviction emblematic wines like the cult brand Aigle les Murailles and Henri wines were born.
Located in the heart of the wine-growing village of Mont-sur-Rolle, the Domaine de Autecour celebrated its 350 years of existence in 2013. The building, classified as a historic monument, is a witness to the rich history of the country, and it combines a Bernese roof and a Savoyard residence. The vineyard gives pride of place to Chasselas, elevated to the rank of Premier Grand Cru. This wine has been elected wine of honor by the Vaud State Council several times!
A wine property whose first foundations date back to 1629, Château de Vinzel once served as the pied-à-terre of a Bernese lord. The estate is a jewel that shines in the heart of La Côte. Its 8.5 hectare vineyard extends around buildings of its time, notably with its vaulted cellars which allow the wines to develop slowly, thus expressing all the richness of their terroir.
The rich history of this exemplary estate began long ago, before the year 1000, in the chestnut tree forests of La Côte. The Chasselas grape, planted as the vast majority grape variety on this terroir, birthed a 1er Grand Cru, the highest classification of Vaud wines. Today, head winemaker Tony Heubi passionately continues the tradition of excellence at Château de Châtagneréaz.
