75% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc. For the first time, Clos de l'Oratoire includes the estate's own Massal selection. The idea was to enhance the Cabernet Franc expression and freshness. The bouquet is floral, with a hint of violet, without losing the classic notes of black berries and liquorice. On the palate, the wine is well balanced. Everything is in its place, in perfect harmony with perfectly integrated tannins that offer strength and breadth. The finish is fruity and long. 2028-2048

With the presence of 25% Merlot in the 2023 vintage, Clos de L’Oratoire leaves a lasting impression with its wisteria fragrance. I particularly adore its taste evolution on the palate, reminiscent of a clear stream upon entry and evolving into rich limestone powder upon finish. The transition from softness to firmness is seamless and natural, it feels like listening to a lover whispering lyrical poetry in an atmosphere filled with floral and fruity aromas, leaving a sense of delightful contentment.

Aromas of cherries, dark chocolate, spices and violets introduce the 2023 Clos de l'Oratoire, a medium to full-bodied, fleshy and layered wine that's charming and harmonious on the attack, displaying a touch of youthfully grippy tannin on the finish.
