Dark, intense purple colour. Very aromatic, fine, clean, fruity nose. Full-bodied on the palate, fleshy in the middle, with a lot of flavour, the wine evolves into a juicy, precise, airy and structured wine. A very fine, aromatic finish with enveloping tannins. Blend: 79% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc, 5% Petit Verdot. Alcohol content: 13° 3 - pH: 3.6. Yield: 41 hl/ha. 30% of the harvest.

The 2023 Pavillon Rouge displays a softness that sends shivers down my spine. As it moistens the tip of the tongue, it feels like three pieces of Chinese Milk Candies melting simultaneously, quite unbeliveable for a wine with 79% Cabernet Sauvignon. The elusive scents of iris and violet are captivating, draping the milky body in a purple veil, light and tender. This is the poignant moment that Pavillon Rouge has left me with in 2023, a second-label wine capable of awakening your temporal memories.
