65% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon Hints of graphite and liquorice, complemented by floral and fruity notes, underline the complexity of the bouquet. Petit-Village is a wine of finesse and charm. Its inviting, powerful character heralds a wine capable of shining on several levels. Its vitality gives it charm, while its acidity structure, in particular, suggests that it has good ageing potential. Let's not forget that this acidity also gives it freshness and spirit. The result is a wine that is elegant, sapid and persistent, with a touch of salinity at the end of the palate, which has the effect of enhancing the finish and its persistence. 2029-2053

In 2023, Château Petit-Village emerges like a delicate purple lotus from cream; its soft and luscious texture profoundly touches me. In my opinion, it stands as the next superstar in Pomerol! This wine might appear calm, but intense activity is felt beneath its surface. Its gravelly clay terroir imparts a robust backbone, while the solid tannins, softened by the caress of cream cheese, shed their armor… Guillaume informed me that the 2023 vintage was the first year with organic certification. This vintage has a more relaxed expression of aromas, and it also reveals a rare saltiness like what I often find in wines with limestone soils.

A racy, classy and linear wine with blackberries, minerals, stones and flowers. It’s medium- to full-bodied with very fine tannins and a racy finish. Creamy texture as well. 65% merlot, 25% cabernet franc and 10% cabernet sauvignon.
