The 2023 vintage can be defined as a “enfant terrible”: very contrasting climatic conditions with periods of frost, a rainy spring, a late summer and a sunny end of the season which favored optimal maturation. Despite all these constraints, the winegrowers managed to meet the challenge of selecting the best bunches by carefully sorting all the berries in order to promote maximum concentration of the future juice. The white and sweet wines are up to scratch while we observe more heterogeneity in the reds due to the different terroirs. In any case, we have tasted great successes, reflecting the know-how and commitment of each property.
The red wines have intense color, ripe fruit and mature tannins, gourmet profiles with beautiful freshness and harmony. We find juicy, captivating wines with great drinkability that will be ready to be enjoyed by young people.
The 2023 vintage has some lovely surprises in store for us with intensely emotional tasting moments. We're in for a treat, especially since the prices announced by the properties are expected to fall. To this new 2023 vintage – Cheers!
