98 100Yves BeckSémillon. Suduiraut has the ability to set the standard from the outset, to shine with its freshness, and yet this is not necessarily its hallmark. The wine reveals nuances of roots, celery and orange peel, grilled almonds and pistachios. With aeration, the wine gains (even more) plurality and minerality... The attack is subtle, announcing sweetness and temperament with an exceptional combination of salinity, charm and bitterness! A conquering, resolute, full-bodied, supple, powerful and persistent wine, shining in its ability to encircle sugar and shine with freshness and rigour. This is a great wine that will remain so for a long time! 2030-2090

98 100James SucklingThe purity of the botrytis grabs your attention, with density and intensity to the dried fruit, sweetness and length. Very spicy and long. Almost oily. Really rich. 150g/L residual sugar. 100% semillon.

96 100Jean-Marc QuarinYellow-green colour. Intense, fine, fruity and subtle nose. Minute on the palate, particularly aromatic in the middle. For the first time, this wine evolves and gives the impression of being first a great white wine and then a great sweet white wine. Meticulous, subtle and deep, particularly difficult to spit out. 100% Semillon. Alcohol content: 14° - pH: 3.8. Residual sugar: 150 g/l. Origin of sweetness: 80% from a botrytised harvest and 20% from a passerillé harvest. Yield: 12 hl/ha.

96 100Alexandre MaMy goodness, I’ve tasted a dry Sauternes! When tasting this wine, don’t be fooled by the sweet aromas of honeydew, banana pear, and yellow plum—it will reveal a razor-sharp edge once you take a sip. How can 100% Sémillon have such a piercing intensity? This is clearly a wolf in sheep’s clothing! Hidden within its oily body are hints of white pepper spice and the mellow aroma of white sesame, which, after aging, align beautifully with the expression intended by Meursault. Personally, I’ve always been skeptical about 100% Sémillon, but Pur Sémillon keeps telling me: it’s time to change your mind.
A beautiful straw yellow.
Intense bouquet, richly botrytized, with aromas of marmalade and honey, followed by floral notes.
The palate is rich and pure, but it is matched by a lively acidity line that gives it balance and great length. A true elixir!
Lobster, crab, langoustines, scallops, exotic cuisine, duck with fruit, blue cheese, fruit desserts. A glass of Suduiraut can also be enjoyed alone on a summer evening!
Serving temperature: 8 - 10°C
