Intense aromas of blackcurrant, blackberries, elderberry, sweet, coated with toasted notes, elegant and discreet flavors of licorice, beetroot and black truffle, supported by a spicy touch.
Beautiful silky texture, elegant and sophisticated, with velvety, well-integrated tannins, extraordinary fruitiness with aromas of ripe fruit and sweet spices, harmonious finish with very good length.
Charcuterie platter, game terrine, porcini mushroom risotto, turkey stuffed with figs, roast veal, grills, venison stew, semi-hard cheeses.
Serving temperature: 16 - 18°C
Each plot of the 75 ha Château Brane-Cantenac vineyard has unique characteristics, making it more suitable for certain grape varieties. The vines are planted on deep gravel soils, rich in minerals. Replanting efforts and a transition to organic viticulture demonstrate the commitment to sustainable viticulture.
Manual harvest at optimal maturity, manual and optical sorting, crushing, fermentation, maceration and pressing, aging for 18 months in oak barrels (70% new wood).
