Medium-sweet with a subtle spiciness. Lots of dried fruit with a floral and lemongrass undertone. Honeysuckle. Hints of lemon and dried apple. Excellent balance and finesse. 80% semillon and 20% sauvignon blanc.

Colour

Delicate golden yellow.

Nose

Botrytis expresses all its complexity with delicate, floral and concentrated aromas. The bouquet is fresh, airy and saffron.

Palate

Moyennement doux avec un piquant subtil. Excellent équilibre et finesse.

Wine-growing terroir

On one of the terraces of the Garonne, 40 km south of Bordeaux, Château Bastor-Lamontagne extends its 56 hectares of vines on a magnificent silico-gravel terroir, entirely devoted to the production of sweet wine.

Winemaking

After a light settling, the musts are separated, some in vats, the other in barrels. Aging for 12 months in stave oak barrels, 20% of which is new wood.
