The Second Blason d'Issan wine was created in 1995. The youngest vines on the property are used to produce this wine which, while respecting the identity of its terroir, offers round, delicious fruit that can be enjoyed more quickly.

A beautiful dark purple red, with almost black reflections.
Intense, fine, fruity, pure, ripe, fresh, suave.
Melting entry in the mouth, the wine evolves juicy and silky, very aromatic and tasty, harmonious finish on the fruit of magnificent length.
Cold meats, game terrine, Périgourdine salad, boletus risotto, grilled salmon, Wellington fillet, grills, venison stew, semi-hard cheeses.
Serving temperature: 16 - 18°C
The Château d'Issan terroir is mainly composed of gravel on the surface and clay in depth, offering optimal maturity and freshness to the vines, which are on average 35 years old.
Manual harvest with double selective sorting, plot vinification in thermoregulated stainless steel vats, aging for 14 to 16 months in oak barrels (including 35% new wood).
