Château Siran 2025
Bordeaux Primeurs | Margaux AC
Once classified as an Exceptional Cru Bourgeois, Château Siran is now paving its way, unique and singular, on the paths of excellence. Château Siran is the result of a subtle blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot grape varieties, which reflects the identity of its terroir. Both powerful and subtle, Siran wines always seek the balance between the sweetness of the tannins, the intensity of the fruit and a persistent freshness.

Plump, chewy with lots of energy and focus and a long, mineral-liquorice edged finish. Great stuff. It’s definitely on the cool side, there’s no overt opulence or hedonism but there’s sure refinement and enjoyment to be had. Drinking window: 2029 - 2038. Georgina Hindle. April 2026.

April 2026.

A beautiful dark purple red.
With aromas of blueberries, blackcurrant, sweet spices, coated with notes of clayey earth.
Entry into the mouth with a beautiful soft texture, tasty, aromatic mid-palate, with fine tannins, without any presence of acidity or hardness.
The property's terroir is located on the Labarde plateau, in the Margaux appellation. The vines are established on a gravelly ridge of fluvial origin, and the soil is essentially made up of gravel and pebbles.
Manual harvest, thermoregulated fermentation in stainless steel vats, aging for 12 to 14 months in oak barrels, 35% of which is new wood.
