Supple and so smooth, really controlled, creamy and juicy with a tangy bite to the cranberry acidity giving a complex and complete expression. Plump, chewy with lots of energy and focus and a long, mineral-liquorice edged finish. Great stuff. It’s definitely on the cool side, there’s no overt opulence or hedonism but there’s sure refinement and enjoyment to be had. Drinking window: 2029 - 2038. Georgina Hindle. April 2026.

A beautiful dark purple red.

Nose

With aromas of blueberries, blackcurrant, sweet spices, coated with notes of clayey earth.

Palate

Entry into the mouth with a beautiful soft texture, tasty, aromatic mid-palate, with fine tannins, without any presence of acidity or hardness.

Wine-growing terroir

The property's terroir is located on the Labarde plateau, in the Margaux appellation. The vines are established on a gravelly ridge of fluvial origin, and the soil is essentially made up of gravel and pebbles.

Winemaking

Manual harvest, thermoregulated fermentation in stainless steel vats, aging for 12 to 14 months in oak barrels, 35% of which is new wood.
