EPC is a start-up born in Champagne in 2019 under the leadership of Camille Jullien, Édouard Roy and Jérôme Queige. A trio of enthusiasts, and letters too, for Champagne des EPiCuriens.
Besides pleasure, of course, the key word of the brand is traceability. The idea is to take the public on a journey through Champagne through vintages which each tell the story of a specific terroir. Read more

Development of terroirs

EPC seeks to highlight in the clearest possible way all the diversity of Champagne, in its places and its styles. The vintages each come from a unique terroir, within a radius of less than 15 km.
The brand takes care to select partners who share its vision, that of respect for the identity of a terroir, but also for the environment, in sustainable viticulture, in organic or biodynamic transition.

The selected winegrowers participate in the creation of the vintages, from the vineyard to the final product, alongside Richard Dailly, EPC oenologist. This also ensures them better remuneration throughout the year.
EPC uses the existing production tools of its partners for local production. Bottles and accessories come entirely from Europe, which reduces waste and carbon footprint

A revealing approach

The dosage is low (less than 6 g/L of sugars in all the vintages) in order to reveal the singularities of each terroir. This involves working with grapes and wine of impeccable quality upstream!
Few sugars, few sulphites too. The idea is the same: to create Champagnes that express themselves fully. A wide diversity of reserve wines allows these vintages to be worked with precision for greater depth.

The back labels are real identity cards for each vintage. Region, partners, dosage, profile, everything is there. A heat-sensitive tablet even turns blue at the ideal tasting temperature!
There we still find an offbeat 'pretext for opening'. A liberating approach from EPC which also brings the blida, the small traditional local glass, back into fashion. All occasions are good to open a Champagne!
