This Cornalin – or Rouge du Pays, a grape variety typical of Valais – is one of the jewels in the crown of the Domaine du Mont d’Or. Domaine du Mont d’Or

Mont d'Or is the oldest wine estate in Valais. He is also known for having introduced Sylvaner to Switzerland, renamed Johannisberg and becoming his favorite grape variety. The certified organic terraced vines are located south of the Montorge nature reserve, near Sion. Since the creation of the estate in the 19th century, its wines have regularly been praised by critics.
