Roche Ronde
White wine | Saint-Saphorin Grand Cru, Lavaux AOC
Under the earth, the rock
This Chasselas is both generous and elegant, delicately fruity, with a certain depth, highlighted by scents of wild flowers. It also emanates mineral notes of flint impregnated by the terroir of Saint-Saphorin, in particular on this plot where around forty strains of Chasselas grow on a rock, “Roche Ronde”, covered with earth. An ingenious optimization of the land available in a region where space is expensive!
