Les Perrières - Aligoté de Peissy
White wine | Geneva AOC
Geneva, land of welcome
This white wine expresses beautiful citrus aromas with a background of almonds and fresh hazelnuts. Round, fresh and well-balanced, with a good length, it is excellent as an aperitif or with fish or wild mushrooms. Aligoté is Burgundy's other white wine, often overlooked in favour of Chardonnay. However, it has made a name for itself in Geneva, where it produces excellent results, as seen here!

10 km from Geneva, on the protected slopes of a hill, the small village of Peissy is home to Domaine Les Perrières. The terroir, marked by molassic and clayey soils, gives the wines a warm sap that underlines the fruitiness of the grape varieties. Out of respect for the environment, the vines are cultivated according to federal standards known as Integrated Production.
