L'Arbalète Rouge
Red wine | Dézaley Grand Cru AOC
On the steep terraces of Dézaley, Chasselas reigns supreme. But we also find a few red plants on this very exposed terroir, which lends itself well. And this in particular thanks to Jules Testuz, who planted them at the beginning of the 20th century. His successors had the good idea to continue this approach and today offer a blend that delights with its depth and its aging potential.

It is in the Dézaley vines, built under the famous banks of pudding (a characteristic rock of the terroir), that the Chasselas Dézaley Grand Cru L'Arbalète AOC finds one of its highest expressions.
The Syrah is picked after the usual harvest, to obtain perfect maturity. Light crushing, vatting for 15 days to extract the tannins. Aging for several months on fine lees, natural clarification by sedimentation.
