Domaine de Sarraux-Dessous Chasselas Special Reserve 2017
White wine | Luins Grand Cru, La Côte AOC
A great wine dressed to the nines!
This Special Reserve offers a delicate profile, with great finesse. Typical of the 2017 vintage, slow to start then very balanced, it is a Chasselas still young, particularly lively, very classy. A white wine to drink now for its notes of flowers and fresh fruit, or to forget in the cellar so that a whole complexity of dried fruits and spices can develop.

Clear and bright.
Discreet and delicate, floral (lime blossom) and fruity (apple and pear), very fresh.
Fine and lively for a Chasselas, with beautiful floral notes and a crisp finish.
It can be enjoyed with a hard cheese, a Vacherin Mont-d'Or, a terrine, a mushroom casserole or simply to end the evening in style!
The Domaine de Sarraux-Dessous is located on 18 hectares in one piece - facing south, south-east - in the best part of the hillside. The vineyard is topped by a tall, rustic house housing the cellars. The estate's wines are housed and aged in oak barrels until they are bottled.

Domaine de Sarraux-Dessous
The first known traces of the estate date back to the 12th century and to the independent commune of Serraux, which included a castle and a court of law. Recently, Romain Crausaz, Eric Barbay’s successor, has been tending this single contiguous vineyard, situated around the Sarraux-Dessous estate. The estate's cellars produce different Chasselas, a Savagnin Blanc, three red wines and an original Rosé.
