The Château de Vinzel vineyard extends over more than 8 hectares of vines planted with Chasselas and Merlot. It is one of the best exposed locations in the La Côte appellation, facing Lake Geneva, the Vinzel hillsides proving a wonderful setting for growing vines. An emblematic grape variety from French-speaking Switzerland with Lake Geneva origins, Chasselas has made its subtlety the strength of a great local wine.
For each vintage, a plot is selected to provide the grapes intended for the production of this exceptional vintage. Once the aging process has been completed and approval has been granted by the Tasting Commission, this vintage can then be honored with the prestigious distinction "1er Grand Cru", thus guaranteeing the typicality of its place of origin.

Château de Vinzel
The Château de Vinzel estate is a jewel that shines in the heart of La Côte. Its 8.5 hectare vineyard extends around period buildings. It benefits from a gentle slope, facing south, with a high planting density and limited yields. Today, the new generation of the Monachon winegrower family, with Fabien at its head, takes care of the vines of this prestigious estate.
