Alta Yarí, Gran Torrontés
White wine | Uco Valley
A Greater Torrontès not to be missed!
This white wine seduces with its aromas of citrus and stone fruits. On the palate, the high altitude vines, very exposed, express themselves in a smooth style, balanced by great liveliness, especially on the finish, reminiscent of lime. Fine spicy notes bring a nice complexity to the fruit, thanks to a third of the wine fermented in barrels. A marvel of balance – again! – by Hervé Fabre.

The must was Decantered cold for 24 hours, then drawn off. A third of the must fermented in barrels and the remaining two thirds in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature between 14 and 16°C.

Alta Yari
The ambition is to make Alta Yarí one of the most exceptional areas in Argentina. After leaving Bordeaux almost 40 years ago, Hervé Fabre has had the privilege of working with many exceptional terroirs in Argentina, but the Alta Yarí estate in Gualtallary is in his opinion one of the best.
