Alta Yarí, Gran Corte
Red wine | Uco Valley
A union that commands admiration!
This great red wine from Alta Yarí is beautifully fragrant, with aromas of roses, blueberries, wild herbs and toast. The palate is perfectly balanced with dense tannins, which blend into a lingering finish. Coming from high altitude vineyards, among the freshest in the Gualtallary region, the "Gran Corte" embodies all the art of blending of Bordeaux-born oenologist Hervé Fabre, with 40 years of experience in his new homeland!

Intense dark red with ruby notes.
With complex aromas of black fruits and spices with woody nuances, offering a glimpse of the depth that characterizes this wine.
Perfectly balanced with flavors of ripe fruit, supported by notes of spice and subtle wood, which blend into a long and persistent finish.
Different soil profiles (limestone, sandy limestone and gravelly stony) at altitudes between 1350 and 1580 m, offering significant thermal amplitudes. This diversity of soils and microclimates makes it possible to develop a range of wines of character which reflect and respect the different terroirs.
Controlled fermentation creates complex aromas. The judicious blending of grape varieties gives a beautiful balance and the aging in oak barrels enriches the wine.

Alta Yari
The ambition is to make Alta Yarí one of the most exceptional areas in Argentina. After leaving Bordeaux almost 40 years ago, Hervé Fabre has had the privilege of working with many exceptional terroirs in Argentina, but the Alta Yarí estate in Gualtallary is in his opinion one of the best.
