Clos des Papes
Covering an area of 40 ha, the Clos des Papes takes its name from a plot of vines which was once part of the papal estate which is currently located within the ruins of the castle. A pioneer in the quest for quality in the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation area, the Avril family has never considered precedence for granted. Paul-Vincent Avril, meticulous and diligent, raised in the sobriety of the Burgundian school, perpetuates the tradition of elegant and balanced wines.
