Intense ruby red with purplish reflections.
Fruity bouquet, with aromas of cherry and plum, coated by spicy scents dominated by black and white pepper and nutmeg, rounded off by a delicate touch of chocolate and blond tobacco.
Voluptuous, full wine, with very velvety and well-blended tannins, silky, harmonious finish and magnificent length.
Antipasti, game terrine, goulash, grilled meats, T-Bone steak, Café de Paris entrecôte, wild boar fillet, venison stew.
Serving temperature: 16 - 18°C
Vines facing southwest, at an altitude between 30 and 50 m, and cultivated on clay-limestone, sandy and loamy soils.
Vinification by grape variety. Alcoholic fermentation and maceration take place in concrete vats for 25 to 30 days at a controlled temperature not exceeding 28/30°C. Malolactic fermentation in 225 liter French oak barrels. Aging of the wine for 14 months in barrels and resting in bottles for 12 months before being marketed.
