VIK Milla Cala

Red wine | Cachapoal Valley

Golden berry
This wine perfectly conveys the terroir and spirit of VIK. The estate's five grape varieties are sublimated in a great red wine that offers structure and character, with a silky mouthfeel that stretches out gently. The name of this wine pays homage to the meeting between the new and the old world. "Milla" means gold in Mapudungun, the language of the Mapuche Indians, and "Cala" is the Spanish translation of Vik, which means cove, or bay... It sounds even better in French!

This wine reveals the most perfect expression of all the grape varieties. Structure with the Cabernet Sauvignon, velvety with the Merlot, consistency with the Carmenère, the symphony of tannins with the Cabernet-Franc, to finish with a touch of sweetness thanks to the Syrah.

VIK

VIK is a world-class winery located in Chile. It is the dream come true of billionaire Alexander Vik and his wife Carrie, who in the early 2000s decided to create the best possible wine from scratch. In both the vineyard and the cellar, the approach is holistic, and every detail is taken into account, sometimes in an inventive way, to achieve perfection.
