Red wine | Cachapoal Valley
This red wine from Chile is complex and fragrant, with aromas of blackcurrant, olive, cocoa and cigar Wooden box. The notes of redcurrant and tomato leaf in Cabernet – Sauvignon and Franc – betray the Chilean origin of this grand cru. It is a precise, nuanced wine, with silky tannins and an endless finish. The history of the estate dates back to 2004 when the wealthy couple Alex and Carrie Vik selected this dream terroir to produce a world-class wine. The first vintage came out in 2009!

The Millahue terroir is made up of varied, rich (particularly red clay) and alluvial soils. Benefiting from the proximity of the Pacific Ocean, the climate is characterized by dry and hot summers as well as cool nights which help preserve the acidity of the grapes. This combination offers the best conditions for optimal ripening of the berries.
