Tour Rouge, Assemblage Rouge
Red wine | Chablais AOC | 1bt Carton.
The opposite of an ivory tower!
Under the mysterious name of “Tour Rouge” hides a blend of Garanoir, Gamaret, Merlot and Syrah, with heady aromas of cherry and strawberry, coated with vanilla and sweet spices. On the palate, the tannins are dense, the fruit is ripe, the wood very attractive. This red wine is aged in American oak barrels, something unusual for a Swiss wine, for an original result, which goes wonderfully with Mediterranean dishes and grilled meats.
