Ruby red.
With a delicate, intense and fine bouquet with notes of small black fruits (blackcurrant) and peppery nuances.
Warm and supple body, with a beautiful structure and well-integrated tannins.
Traditional Ticino cuisine, baked goat, rabbit in sauce, Alpine cheeses.
Serving temperature: 16 - 18°C
This Merlot comes from selected Mendrisiotto vineyards. The parent rock on which the Ticino soil is formed is almost entirely of crystalline origin (granite and gneiss) and the soils are rather acidic and not calcareous.
Traditional in stainless steel vats and at controlled temperature, long maceration with the skins for 13 days.
