100 100James Suckling“An extremely pure and elegant vintage for Seña. The nose is really fresh, agile and oral, with subtle notes of cherry, plum, redcurrant and wild lavender. Very understated and subtle, with the elegance, freshness and confidence we expect from 2021. The palate is medium to full-bodied, with a bit more aroma and depth when compared to Rocas of Seña, their second wine. The impeccable tannins testify to the quality supreme fruit this year. The finish is lingering and flawless, but in a subtle way. It's easy to drink now, but it will age very well. » Zekun Shuai.
A deep ruby red nuanced with purplish notes.
With delicate aromas of strawberry, blackcurrant and rose petals, with a note of cloves, spices and cocoa.
Blend of red fruits and dark chocolate, creating a delicious flavor. Bright acidity and fine tannins balance this flavor, creating a smooth, cohesive sensation.
Located in the Aconcagua Valley, the 42-hectare hillside vineyard of Seña offers a great diversity of well-drained soils, composed of gravel and rocks of volcanic and colluvial origin. The ideal Mediterranean climate, influenced by the cooling effects of the Pacific Ocean, creates perfect conditions for the production of red grapes that reach an excellent level of maturity while maintaining balanced acidity.
Vinification for 22 months, 90% in French oak barrels (including 70% new) and 10% in tuns.
