The land is clay-limestone and stony.
The sun-drenched bunches are selected and dried for four months on trellises in a dry, ventilated room. They are then lightly crushed and undergo a fairly long fermentation of one month. Amarone is aged in oak barrels for three years, then it continues to mature for six months in bottles before being released on the market.
