The Merlot of Tenuta San Domenico is a magnificent red wine from Malcantone. The 3 hectare vineyard extends on a plateau above the shores of Lake Lugano and belongs to a religious foundation run by Dominican nuns from 1946 to 2014. Since the year 2000 the Tamborini winery has taken over the management of this historic estate.

Beautiful structure, ample, warm, harmonious, with well-blended and very silky tannins.

This noble Merlot from Tenuta San Domenico is born on a plateau on the heights of Lake Lugano, in vineyards facing south.
This vintage was vinified using the traditional Bordeaux method.
