The Merlot of Tenuta San Domenico is a magnificent red wine from Malcantone. The 3 hectare vineyard extends on a plateau above the shores of Lake Lugano and belongs to a religious foundation run by Dominican nuns from 1946 to 2014. Since the year 2000 the Tamborini winery has taken over the management of this historic estate.

Intense bouquet, great aromatic finesse, flavors of wild berries and morello cherries, supported by a light touch of vanilla.

Palate

Beautiful structure, ample, warm, harmonious, with well-blended and very silky tannins.
