This sweet white wine offers lovely aromas of apricot, peach, currants and a hint of toasted almonds. Rich and powerful on the palate, it captivates with its enveloping, deep and meditative sweetness, lingering for a very long time in a finish full of mineral freshness. The style is easy to drink, well-balanced and has the potential to improve over decades. This star cuvée is harvested late, around 11 November – Saint Martin’s Day – hence its name!

Domaine du Mont d’Or

Mont d'Or is the oldest wine estate in Valais. He is also known for having introduced Sylvaner to Switzerland, renamed Johannisberg and becoming his favorite grape variety. The certified organic terraced vines are located south of the Montorge nature reserve, near Sion. Since the creation of the estate in the 19th century, its wines have regularly been praised by critics.
