Riberal Reserva
Red wine | DO Ribera del Duero
The nose of this red wine offers complex aromas of black fruits, balsamic cream, cocoa and aromatic herbs. Its very precise aging in barrels allows it to breathe and round out, resulting in a subtle balance between power and elegance. A great Spanish red wine to Decanter for a few hours while young, and to serve with grilled meats or slow-cooked dishes, tender and tasty.

The wines made in the Ribera del Duero region come from 160 hectares of carefully chosen vineyards, owned by 51 wine growers who were encouraged to take part in the Riberal del Duero project initiated by the Frutos Villar family.
Nestled in a special area, facing the slopes of the Duero River and sheltered by its basin, these vineyards flourish in alluvial soils.
The vineyards produce different varieties of grape varieties, mainly the indigenous grape variety “Tinta del País” known as “Tempranillo”.
Before fermentation, cold maceration at 8°C, then traditional fermentation in 15,000 L French wooden vats. 100% destemmed grapes. Controlled fermentation at 27-29°C for 20 days. After flowing, the wine Decanters before being put into barrels. Aging for 24 months in French oak barrels with racking every 3 months then in bottle for 12 months, at 16°C maximum

Bodegas Frutos Villar
At the turn of the 20th century, Bodegas Frutos Villar began its wine journey by enthusiastically sharing the region's local wines. A family heritage rich in passion and innovation, which reached its peak in 1988 with the acquisition of the prestigious Bodegas Santa Eulalia, anchored in the heart of the Denominación de Origen Ribera del Duero. Let's dive into these two emblematic chapters in the history of Bodegas Frutos Villar.
