Prestige Chasselas Barrique d'Yvorne
White wine | Yvorne, Chablais AOC
Our emblematic grape variety in an atypical style!
This Chasselas is unlike any other! And it’s a hit from the barrel! The typical aromas of this white wine – anise, fresh lime, verbena, honey and wax – are intertwined with elegant flavors of vanilla. The palate displays a round and suave structure, very pleasant to drink thanks to its lovely freshness. The perfect companion for grilled poultry and fish in sauce, such as curry!

Beautiful lemon yellow color with golden nuances
Inimitable freshness where anise, fresh lime blossom dominate and where the slightly diluted verbena gives way to the sweetness of honey coated in its wax case. All these scents mingle in a background of discreet and elegant scent of fresh vanilla.
The palate releases a fruity and subtly smoky note, a round and suave structure enhanced by its fat and creaminess. A powerful and pleasant wine to drink thanks to its acid support and the vanilla reminiscences which persist at the end of the tasting

Built on terraces at the foot of the alluvial cone formed by the flow of scree coming down from the mountain in 1584, the vineyard benefits from generous sunshine and excellent natural drainage of the land. Gravely, stony, clay-limestone framework, characterized by the presence of sandstone, rocky sediments and alluvial deposits giving the wine-growing soils excellent permeability.

Henri Badoux
It was in 1908 that Henri Badoux founded Maison Henri Badoux in Aigle. Its creator and his successors will continue to increase the wine heritage.
Over the decades, the men of Maison Henri Badoux have tamed these terroirs and have been able to adapt to the vagaries of the climate, to bring out with tenacity and know-how, the best of these precious grape varieties.
From this pioneering spirit, passion and conviction were born emblematic wines such as the cult brand Aigle les Murailles.
