Poggio Salvi Brunello di Montalcino “Pomona” 2018
Red wine | Brunello di Montalcino DOCG
A beautiful tribute to Pomona!
Pomona? She is the Roman goddess of fruit, often crowned with vine leaves and grape clusters. And the symbol of Poggio Salvi. This Brunello ''Pomona'', from a specific plot, is in every way... divine! Intense, with aromas of red fruits and spices. It is a great red wine, complex and captivating, with elegant tannins that guarantee a very long evolution.

95 100Wine EnthusiastA lot of energy in the glass with this young Brunello which shows notes of mixed red flowers, camphor, jasmine and withered linden. A lot of sour cherries dominate the secondary scene. Full bodied, tannins decidedly extracted and slightly dusty at the moment and a finale of medium to long persistence.
