Poggio Salvi Brunello di Montalcino “Pomona” 2017
Red wine | Brunello di Montalcino DOCG
A beautiful tribute to Pomona!
Pomona? She is the Roman goddess of fruit, often crowned with vine leaves and grape clusters. And the symbol of Poggio Salvi. This Brunello 2017 ''Pomona'', from a specific vineyard, is in every way... divine! Intense, with aromas of red fruits, dried flowers and spices. It is a great red wine, complex and captivating, with elegant tannins that guarantee a very long evolution.

A lot of sour cherries dominate the secondary scene. Full bodied, tannins decidedly extracted and slightly dusty at the moment and a finale of medium to long persistence.
