PLOZZA Franciacorta BRUT
Sparkling wine | Franciacorta DOCG
The Italian Champagne!
The Franciacorta region specializes in sparkling wines, Champagne style. With the same approach: the so-called ''traditional method.'' This sparkling wine has two advantages: a commonly more affordable price and a rounder profile. This Plozza cuvée seduces with its aromas of fresh fruit, enhanced with delicate hints of almond, hazelnut and dried fig. Its fine bubbles give a festive atmosphere to any occasion!

Wine-growing terroir
An idyllic wine region south of Lake Iseo in Lombardy. Since the sixties, noble sparkling wines have been produced here using the Champagne method, which - in contrast to the simpler so-called closed tank method - is a very elaborate procedure.
Winemaking
After bottling, Franciacorta Brut remains on the lees for 24 months. The total duration of aging and maturation is 30 months. During this time, a pressure of 5 to 6 atm develops inside the bottle.

Plozza Franciacorta
The Plozza group, a renowned Valtellina wine company, completed its product range in 2009 by acquiring a winery in Ome, near Lake Iseo, in the Franciacorta region. Noble sparkling wines, made using the traditional method (as in Champagne), have been produced in this region since the 1960s. From 1995, they benefited from the DOCG designation.
