Sélection Nature, Parcelle 966 Doral
White wine | Morges Grand Cru, La Côte AOC
A rare Swiss grape variety in orange and natural mode!
This Doral produces an aromatic and fruity wine, with citrus notes and great freshness on the palate. Its fine texture and deep color come from its maceration with the skins for three weeks; it is an “orange” wine, a white wine made like a red wine! Doral, still not very common, is a Swiss cross between our national Chasselas and Chardonnay. Two great grape varieties together could only give a beautiful result!

Overlooking the Morgian city, in a sublime environment, the 14 hectares of hillside vines embrace the lake and offer optimal exposure. Four white grape varieties (Chasselas, Doral, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay) and six red grape varieties (Pinot Noir, Gamay, Dunkelfelder, Gamaret, Galotta, Servagnin) share this terroir and will give rise to around twenty vintages. After completing its conversion, the cultivation of vines continues today in organic cultivation.
