Wine-growing terroir

The vineyards are located in the north of the province of Treviso, at the foot of the Dolomites and not very far from Conegliano and Valdobbiadene. In Venice, you often hear Venetians say "Let's go drink an ombra". This expression dates back centuries. At the time, in St. Mark's Square, to keep their wine cool, merchants circled their benches around the campanile, following its shadow as the sun moved. This is how this lovely expression was born!
