Mont d'Or, Johannisberg

White wine | Domaine du Mont d’Or, Valais AOC

Neither dry nor sweet, but somewhere in between
Sylvaner, known as Johannisberg in Valais, is the king grape variety at Domaine du Mont d'Or. This late-harvested cuvée produces a semi-sweet wine, a style that has made the cellar famous. This profile allows for a number of interesting pairings, from starter to dessert, including cheeses. Try it for example with a Vacherin…Mont d’Or!
