Marco Zanatta Cannonau di Sardegna
Red wine | Sardegna DOC
A red wine from Sardinia that’s just… amazing!
Cannonau, which scientists believe to be Spanish Garnacha (Grenache), is perfectly suited to Sardinia and its climate. It is a grape variety with a lot of personality, the proof here, on the Zanatta family vineyard. Its poor granite soil is the origin of this very fine red wine, without heaviness, with delicious notes of wild berries, spices and cut flowers. The perfect companion for grills and southern cuisine!

The Zanatta family vineyard is ideally located in the northwest of Sardinia, in Gallura. The landscape, dominated by granite rocks along the coast, has been shaped by wind, rain and the sea, the soils are poor and not very fertile, further north in the milder regions, vast areas of land are dedicated to viticulture. The wines of the region thus reveal a racy, very tasty side.
Cold pre-fermentation maceration for 2 days, fermentation for 8 to 10 days in stainless steel vats at controlled temperature.
