Lunadoro "Gran Pagliareto"
Red wine | Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG
This great red wine from Lunadoro is intense, with aromas of blackberry and plum, with a touch of balsamic and black pepper. Warm and enveloping in the mouth, it nevertheless remains precise and very fine. A style that owes nothing to chance. After a year in new wood for taste and complexity, it spends a year and a half in large barrels to breathe and settle down, and another year in bottle to become a model of harmony. Class!

The Montepulciano terroir offers exceptional diversity, with light soils at lower altitudes and steep soils at higher altitudes. The Mediterranean climate, combined with continental influences, favors the growth of the vine. The Lunadoro vineyards benefit from clay soils and the proximity of Lakes Chiusi and Trasimeno. Exposure to the wind promotes optimal ripening of the grapes.
Vinification at controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged in new French oak barrels for at least 12 months, then 18 months in large barrels. Finally, the wine ages in the bottle for an additional 12 months.
