Built in the Middle Ages, the Clos are plots of vines surrounded by dry stone walls, in order to protect them... from domestic animals that grazed around the villages! Within Clos des Guettes, the Henri de Villamont cellar produces this deep Pinot Noir 1er Cru, which offers beautiful aromas of raspberries and morello cherries with a background of liquorice.

With a bouquet of small black and red fruits reminiscent of cherry, blackcurrant and raspberry.
The body is discreetly tannic, substantial, round and powerful.
Very tasty piece of beef, pan-fried foie gras, poultry (roasted, lacquered and caramelized), Meaux brie, tomme, reblochon.
Serving temperature: 16 - 18°C
Like an unfolding map, the landscape widens between the Montagne de Corton and Beaune. The land is limestone with sandy tones.
Aging for several months in barrels.
