Gergenti, Il Vero Siciliano
Red wine | Rosso Terre Siciliane IGT
Best of Sicily!
This red wine displays a rich palette of aromas, between stewed red fruits, licorice and notes of sweet spices from aging in oak barrels. This cuvée blends indigenous red grape varieties from Sicily, such as Nero d'Avola and Frappato, combined with Nerello Mascalese typical of Etna. A marriage of the various facets of Sicily, a beautiful sunny wine, to serve with arancini, or pasta alla Norma!

Deep, intense ruby red.
Intense, deploying a rich palette of scents.
Notes of red fruits. Very concentrated, with silky tannins and a long finish.
The vineyard, located at around 600 m altitude, is planted on thin and stony soil, made up of lava in the depths.
The rigorous selection of the grapes, the gentle pressing, the controlled temperature during fermentation and the aging in oak barrels for 6 months, give this great wine a remarkable personality.
