Dark, almost black with purplish reflections.
Beautiful aromatic palette with scents of black cherry, raspberry and redcurrant intertwined with notes of anise, dark chocolate and coffee seeds.
Highly concentrated and lushly rich, powerful with the elegant traits imparted by its time in oak barrels. Lingering finish with charming mocha aromas.
This magnificent vintage comes from the Alexander Valley, an extraordinary terroir between mountains and hills, bathed in marine influences. The soils, of great diversity (red volcanic earth, schist, alluvium, clay), give this wine a beautiful complexity and perfect balance.
The grapes are sorted by hand, fermented in open barrels and pumped several times a day. Aged for 14 months in French oak barrels, 49% new wood and 60% second and third passage.
