This results in more ripe aromas of dark fruits like cherry and blackberry, with hints of coffee and vanilla, almond and sandalwood. This red wine offers concentrated flavors of fruit and spice, in a full-bodied palate, with soft tannins and a long finish.

Colour

Dark red, almost black and very elegant.

Nose

Aromas of black fruits, hints of coffee and vanilla, coated with a touch of almond and sandalwood.

Palate

Ripe and concentrated stone fruit aromas on the entry, body and length, toasted oak on the mid-palate, full-bodied and intense with subtle tannins and a refined character, intensified by a long spicy finish.

Wine-growing terroir

The Paso Robles wine region is a land of diversity and contrasts that ranges from river bottoms to rolling hills and from plains to mountains. There is a wide variety of soils there. These are mainly bedrock, granite derivatives, weathered maritime and volcanic rocks, as well as dense clay soils ideal for growing vines.

Winemaking

Alcoholic fermentation for 10 days at controlled temperature, short maceration for optimal extraction of aromas, complete malolactic fermentation, aging in barrels (medium roasting) for 12 months.
