Fontanafredda "Pradalupo" Roero Arneis
White wine | Roero Arneis DOCG
White Barolo!
This ''Pradalupo'' is a typical Arneis, delicate, with aromas of pear and hawthorn flowers. On the palate it is ample and delicate at the same time, with a beautiful liveliness and a honeyed finish. Arneis is sometimes nicknamed white Barolo, taking advantage of the reputation of the king of Piedmont, red Barolo, even if the two grape varieties are only distantly related. Saved from extinction in the 1970s, Arneis is coming back to life today, thanks to wineries like Fontanafredda.

Magnificent scents of exotic fruits, ripe pear, hawthorn flowers and acacia honey.
Pleasantly coated, ample and delicate, with a nice acidity and a fresh and honeyed finish.
Served chilled, it is a great aperitif wine. At the table, it is an ideal accompaniment to fish-based appetizers, shellfish, grilled fish, light pasta dishes and risottos.

Fontanafredda
Founded in 1858 in Serralunga d'Alba, in the heart of the Langhe, Fontanafredda is one of Piedmont's most emblematic estates and a global reference for Barolo. Its history began when King Victor Emmanuel II acquired the estate for Countess Rosa Vercellana, known as "Bela Rosin." For over 160 years, Fontanafredda has contributed to the renown of great Piedmontese wines through an exceptional heritage, an extensive vineyard, and a philosophy focused on the authentic expression of its terroirs. Today, the estate is one of the major players in high-quality Italian viticulture.
