Duval-Leroy "Femme de Champagne" 2002
Sparkling wine | Champagne Brut Nature Grand Cru
2002: A year of exceptional maturation in Champagne
The fruit of the exceptional year 2002, this champagne of character and structure expresses a personality that is both elegant and intense, with a remarkable body and a beautiful length. 2002 was a year with low rainfall and a very mild winter. The summer was a succession of sunny days. The first tasting sessions confirmed that 2002 was an exceptional vintage. In Brut Nature, Femme de Champagne 2002 is the true emblematic expression of a fantastic vintage.

The dress of the 2002 Champagne Woman is gold.
The nose, of great finesse, combines acacia flower, stewed fruits, with a mineral touch which gives it a lot of elegance.
Notes of brioche, vanilla and dried fruits, with touches of lemon and mandarin happily mixed in. The bubble is very fine and stretches over a remarkable persistence.
