This vintage is presented in a bottle created in 2006 by Maison Duval-Leroy. Its thin collar limits exchanges and its dark color protects the contents from light. Colour

Light gold with silver reflections and fine bubbles.

Nose

Complex aromas of white flowers, hawthorn, honeysuckle and lemon tree, followed by notes of almond, toast and some red fruit notes.

Palate

The first taste is delicate and lively, then a fruity and elegant vinosity is revealed. Good length and depth.

Wine-growing region

The Duval-Leroy vineyard represents 200 ha in operation, or a third of its supplies, the rest being done exclusively during the harvest through the purchase of grapes and must. Duval-Leroy is present in all the Grand Cru communes of the Côte des Blancs, but also very well established in the Grands Noirs of the Montagne de Reims.

Winemaking

From a blend of the best grapes from certified Premier Cru and Grand Cru vineyards. 2% vinified in oak barrels.

Champagne Duval-Leroy

Family Champagne house founded in 1859, Duval-Leroy operates around 200 ha of vines. Based on the very prestigious Côte des Blancs, it produces vintages with unique structures and aromas in Champagne. Following in the footsteps of Carol Duval-Leroy, “Woman of Champagne”, it is today up to her three sons, Julien, Charles and Louis to display the spirit of the house.
