The Domaine de Sarraux-Dessous is located on 18 hectares in one piece - facing south, south-east - in the best part of the hillside. The vineyard is topped by a tall, rustic house housing the cellars. The estate's wines are housed and aged in oak barrels until they are bottled.
From the magnificent 2015, 2017, 2018 and 2020 vintages, these special Chasselas reserves were bottled in autumn after more than 18 months of aging in casks. The exceptional character of these great vintages allowed us to harvest grapes with exceptional maturity and sugar content. From the first months of aging, these grands crus revealed themselves to be superbly complex and very intense. Subsequently, prolonged aging allowed these wines to develop their marked character.
