Domaine de Montvac "Adage"
Red wine | Gigondas AC
A gold family !
This blend, predominantly Grenache, offers aromas of sun-drenched fruits and garrigue, with a fleshy, delicious mouthfeel. The fruity finish, slightly spicy, is very harmonious and has good length. A very successful southern wine from an estate managed entirely in organic farming and passed down from mother to daughter for more than four generations!

This vintage is born from an exceptional terroir in the foothills of the Dentelles de Montmirail. Due to their south-west exposure on ferruginous clay soils with limestone and gypsum outcrops, the small plots are established on benches, called "Restanques" in Provence. Bordered by pines and broom, they each benefit from a microclimate specific to the maturation of the grape varieties: Syrah at altitude, Mourvèdre in the sheltered valleys alongside the emblematic Grenache.
The microclimate, combined with naturally low production, allows wines to be produced over a long period of time at a controlled temperature, combining an elegant structure with flavors inspired by the region. Aging in 30 hl casks gives them smoothness and a maturity of between three and five years.
