Domaine de Autecour Premier Grand Cru 2012
White wine | Mont-sur-Rolle, La Côte AOC
Still at its best after 15 years!
In 2012, the weather was unsettled and changeable, affecting yields, but the grapes harvested were ultimately very healthy and the Chasselas beautifully concentrated. They have aged well and offer a magnificent drinking experience today! This Premier Grand Cru opens with notes of ripe lemon, caramelised apple and pear, underpinned by aromas of toast and honey, as well as a hint of beeswax and turmeric. On the palate, it is round and supple, with lovely precision. The finish, mineral and taut, leaves you longing for the next sip!

Located in the heart of the hillside vineyard, Domaine de Autecour overlooks Mont-sur-Rolle over 13 hectares and flourishes along the banks of Lake Geneva. The vines are cultivated according to the rules of integrated production, respectful of the environment. The high planting density forces the roots to dig deep into the terroir (moraine and eroded molasses), which gives the wine its remarkable complexity and typicity.
